It’s common for many solar manufacturers to offer warranties on their products, but you’d be surprised to discover that there are several warranties available depending on what product you select! Below are some different warranty examples that might cover your products. Keep in mind they all differ depending on the manufacturer ⬇️! ✅ Manufacturer’s Warranty/Product Warranty: This covers defects in the materials or workmanship during manufacture. Enphase offers a 10-year inverter warranty and LG offer a 25-year panel warranty. ✅ Performance Warranty: Companies warranty their panels to provide a minimum output at a certain age. This is commonly known as a linear power output warranty. ✅ Retailers Warranty: CEC Approved Solar Retailers have to provide a standard minimum warranty period of five years on the operation and performance of the whole solar system including workmanship and products, and address any problems during this period. When choosing certain products, it pays to look closely at the different warranties. A reputable solar installer should offer a Retailers Warranty.
